PARMA Recordings Officially Expands to Prague with New Office

With the opening of a new Prague office, PARMA strengthened its commitment to fostering creativity and supporting artists in one of Europe’s most storied musical capitals.

The new office serves as a hub for the company’s European operations, connecting local and international artists with recording opportunities, concert productions, and distribution channels that bring their music to audiences worldwide.

PARMA Recordings Establishes New Operations at Prague’s Studio Martínek

The expansion followed the launch of PARMA’s Studio Martínek, a historic recording space in Prague that has already hosted many recording sessions with acclaimed ensembles and soloists, from soprano Bree Nichols to the Brno Contemporary Orchestra and beyond.

PARMA’s production team travelled worldwide in 2025 to capture new classical music by several of today’s leading composers and performers.

From large-scale orchestral sessions with the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and drummer Ulysses Owens Jr., to intimate chamber music settings with The Crossing, Juventas New Music Ensemble, and more, 2025 showed us that classical music is thriving, and there are countless reasons to listen.

New Recording and Performance Opportunities for Classical Artists

PARMA led several initiatives this year to curate, record, and program new classical music. Our Featured Recording Opportunities in 2025 invited composers to submit works for consideration to be recorded by world-class performers including the Milano Saxophone Quartet, French hornist Radek Baborak, Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, and pianist Anna Kislitsyna at Tippet Rise.

Our Music Industry Insight series on the PARMA blog explored the modern methods of generating organic exposure for classical music, the feasibility of remote recording sessions for composers, tips for navigating music licensing, and how recordings fuel future performances of classical works.

New Website Designs

The PARMA Web Team designed a variety of custom websites for modern classical composers, performers, and creatives, complete with catered aesthetics and intuitive features that help amplify their work.

The team launched a new website for The New York Times bestselling author Dan Brown, complete with custom design and branding, his full catalog of critically-acclaimed novels including the newly-released The Secret of Secrets, details on tour dates, film/tv engagements, and more.

A variety of educational activities and materials for youth also launched at wildsymphony.com. PARMA added coloring sheets, guides to create homemade instruments, games and puzzles, and more to the site, connecting Brown’s orchestral portrait of the animal kingdom to classrooms worldwide.

Brand new websites for several classical figures also made their debut with the likes of Johan De Meij, Sara Davis Beuchner, Megan Sesma, John A. Carollo, and Noxon Publications.

Live Performances

Thomas Mesa performs works from the Navona release DIVISION OF MEMORY at the DiMenna Center on August 29, 2025

PARMA artists showcased their talents around the world this year, inviting enthusiastic audiences to experience the reason that the centuries-old tradition of classical music continues to move us so deeply.

Lindsey Goodman, Kristina Marinova, and Ovidiu Marinescu made waves with dynamic contemporary chamber music at Carnegie Hall while Thomas Mesa displayed dramatic cello repertoire at DiMenna Center. On a symphonic scale, Peter Drew’s Symphony No. 1, Reminiscence debuted in the middle of a fierce snowstorm with the Boulder Symphony, and Johan De Meij’s Symphony No. 1, The Lord of the Rings enchanted listeners live in Tokyo.

Dan Brown’s Wild Symphony made waves around the world in 2025, receiving live performances from world-class ensembles including The Cleveland Orchestra, Vancouver Symphony, Czech Philharmonic, Sistema New Brunswick Children’s Orchestra & Sistema Toronto featuring live narration by Viggo Mortensen, and more.
