Among our current and upcoming sessions, PARMA Recordings is highlighting a newly available recording opportunity with the internationally-acclaimed Trio Casals:

Projects are to be recorded with piano trio Trio Casals in December 2026 and produced by PARMA’s GRAMMY-winning team for release on Navona Records. These compositions will also be performed by the trio in a concert at Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall.

Submissions for this opportunity may include works for:
The submitter is responsible for securing funds associated with production, promotion, and release; the submitter subsequently retains all ownership of the resulting master recording and the underlying composition. Budgets are determined based on the music, and an initial estimate can be provided upon submission.
Works will ideally be between 10 and 15 minutes in length.
Works will be written for piano trio or subset including cello.
Works meeting the above criteria and approved by the trio and PARMA will be recorded and commercially released by PARMA Recordings.
Multiple GRAMMY Award-winner Brad Michel (PARMA’s Senior Producer, North America) is available to produce approved sessions.

Ovidiu Marinescu
Ovidiu Marinescu is internationally recognized as a cellist, composer, conductor, and educator. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Weill Hall, Merkin Hall (New York), the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, Holywell Room in Oxford, Oriental Art Center in Shanghai, and has appeared as soloist with the London Symphony, New York Chamber Symphony, the National Radio Orchestra of Romania.

Timothy Schwarz
Since his solo debut with the legendary Philadelphia Orchestra at age 9, violinist Timothy Schwarz has had a brilliant career as a soloist, chamber musician, and pedagogue. Praised for his “remarkable technical skills and interpretive abilities” (American Record Guide) and “one of the best modern-day violinists” (Take Effect), Schwarz regularly performs throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas as a soloist and chamber musician.

Mădălina-Claudia Dănilă
Internationally acclaimed concert pianist Mădălina-Claudia Dănilă has captivated audiences globally with her profound musical artistry and versatility. A Romanian-born artist, Dănilă’s career is distinguished by her triumphs in prestigious competitions, including the International Piano Competition in Vigo, Spain, and the Charleston 20th Century Music Competition.
