This year, PARMA Recordings was honored with a National Arts Award in the annual American Prize Independence Day Honors. Presented by The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts, the award was given in recognition of “outstanding services to the performing arts over an extended period of time.”

We’d like to extend our congratulations to Erie Mills, Gloriae Dei Cantores, Arts Quincy, conductor Paul Mauffray, composer John Muehleisen, and pianist Martha Summa-Chadwick, all of whom were recognized in this year’s Independence Day Honors.

The American Prize National Nonprofit Competitions in the Performing Arts is described as “the nation’s most comprehensive series of online contests in the musical and theater arts. The American Prize is nonprofit, unique in scope and structure, and is designed to evaluate, recognize, and reward the best performers, ensembles, and composers in the United States based on submitted recordings.
