The month of May took the production team to a number of different locations around the globe. From overseeing numerous musical projects to helping a well-known grassroots initiative deliver inspiring messages to their audience, here’s the run-down of this month’s productions:

Europe Sessions

The production team kicked off this month’s sessions overseas in Prague to record chamber works by composer Andrew Schneider. Stationed at Korunní Chapel, the team was joined by a number of instrumentalists including flutist Dieter Flury, who is best known for his work with a wide range of compositional styles and ensembles internationally.

After navigating a number of different productions across Europe and in the United States, the team returned to the Czech Republic, this time to record a piece by multiple EMMY-winning composer John Wineglass with the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra. Wineglass previously worked with PARMA back in September of 2021, and is set to make his Navona Records debut this summer.

U.S. Sessions

Back in the United States, the team set up shop at the Music Hall in Portsmouth NH to provide sound and video services for a TedX presentation. The immersive full-day event showcased a diverse lineup of inspiring speakers, rousing artistic performances, and more from the New Hampshire Seacoast.

Only a day after the TedX event aired, the production team shifted their focus to the other side of the United States in Portland OR, where sessions with the Portland Youth Philharmonic were underway. The ensemble presented a performance of Reunion by composer Michael Evans.

This month’s productions came to a close in West Chester University’s Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre with the critically acclaimed Trio Casals. In the span of a few days, members of the trio recorded a number of different solo and duo compositions from composers Richard E Brown, John Summers, Elizabeth Vercoe, and Brian Field.

With these productions in the books and more scheduled nearly every day next month, we’re excited to press on into the summer season in sessions with Sirius Quartet, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and more.
